hey!, I've tried to build a 200$ Gaming computer almost 7 months ago.. but it failed very hard, I had to leave that computer for stuff other than gaming.
when I play games it always lags hard with fps drops and stuff..
the build should've been successful considering the parts but it still needs better processor and graphics card.. so let me say this, if you really want a gaming computer you might have to afford 400$ and more.
if you need a budget computer, tell me and I will do my best to help you.
let me say this.. even if you get used parts it will not have a much different price than the brand new one.
I also forgot to mention something. the dude who post a pcpartpicker build.. that build is incredible even though its 200$. it can...

Probably the best you can do with new parts, Should do games like TF2 and Dota 2 pretty fine.

Yeah, I think going on eBay and looking for used parts in bundles is your best bet. Something like a second generation i5 should be good for a CPU, try to find a GPU that's at least at the level of the GTS 450. There's not much else you can do apart from that, for 200$ - you can only build a decent PC with 600$ or more, the cheapest I can come up with costs 350$, which is about twice bigger than your budget.
