Building a gaming pc for the first time

so in the past ive always bought PCs premade but this time around i wanted to build one on my own for a number of reasons

however i dont know much about parts and i wanted to post my 'rough draft' configuration to see if anyone can spot any problems with it

i plan to use this build for heavy to light gaming (anything from watchdogs and assassins creed to simple 2D games) at 1080p, though graphics are not as important to me so long as they run at a playable fps

as far as my choice of cpu, i was under the impression that the multiple cores and amd's presence in the next-gen market would give it an edge when playing newer games

Build seems decent. You could probably shave a bit off of the price, but that is the sort of parts you want to use, then it is good enough.

Looks good to me. The only change I would make is to drop a few of the components and up to a Intel Core i5 instead because for gaming, i5 is much stronger than the FX-8350.
