I'm building a gaming pc from scratch and I have no experience or idea of what I'm doing unfortunately. I've found page that lists a build that I can afford for 850$ and these are the parts:
Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H Intel 7 Series ($150)
CPU
Intel Core i5-3570K ($220)
RAM
Patriot G2 Series 8GB (DDR3 1600 Mhz) ($40)
Video Card
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB ($220)
Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB ($90)
Optical Drive
Lite-On Internal DVD Writer ($18)
Case
Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid-Tower ($60)
Power Supply
Thermaltake TR-600 TR2 600W ($50)
Does this sound like a good build? I can go a bit above this so if you see any parts that could be a bit better or know of a better part please tell me. Thank you!
