How about this bro, much better deal and performs so much better. Also, don't get a blue ray reader unless you actually uses a lot of blue ray discs

I did pick a i7 4770k instead of a 4670k. But i don't think you'll need it unless you do a TON of video editing + hyperthreading. Also, you really don't need more than 8GB for gaming.

If you're a gamer, get the 4670k. Save yourself 80$ more.

Im actually going to use it for programming as well, so ill go with the 4770k. I understand that too GTX 770 in a sli would outperform a 780 but then again, wouldn't it also use a lot more electricity ( the bill:) ). But other then that it looks better i guess, I would definitely switch out the ssd for a higher end one. And i do need the full 16gb of ram, as i also do a lot of adobe premiere and after effects.

So do you think this is a better option?

Ok bro. Upgraded it to your desire.

And don't worry about the electric bill bro, it's not too much of a difference. But think about it this way as for the performance of the SLI 770 vs a 780.

A titan will perform quite a bit better than a 780. However, SLI 770 (You're getting the best 770, the windforce one) will perform 40% better than a titan!!!! The performance difference will be HUGE. I think it'll be well worth it, considering it's only 150$ more expensive, for much much much more performance.

Also regarding the SSD upgrade bro.

You really really don't need a bigger SSD than the 120GB IMO. With the setup i have, it's easy and affordable without sacrificing any performance.

Just save your OS + Frequently used Games + Frequently used Softwares onto your SSD. Which should have more than enough spaces for lots of softwares + a few games + the OS.

With one click of the move button from your SSD to HDD, you're saving yourself hundreds of dollars that can be spend else where.

Also you won't really notice the speed difference between two good SSD. So the difference between a 840 pro, and a 840, is very very minimal. I rarely see people notice it outside of benchmarks

Good luck with your build bro.

It's a beast of a machine. And those 2 770 will give you out of this world performance.

Just keep in mind that you may need a 120hz+ monitor to display 120 FPS. The extra 400-500$ can be towards a great monitor or monitors if you prefer more than one. ( your SLI can certainly handle it)

The case is a VERY good one. It comes with a few big main fans, with slots available to install even more fans.

What i would suggest, is to build it first, and run a few stress test on the CPU and GPU. OC it to a stable level, and see how's the temperature is doing.

You should be fine as long as you don't OC a insane amount or you got a bad GPU/CPU. I'm using a 300R, which doesn't cool as well as that R4, and i did not have to install one fan. You don't really want to install any more fans than you have to really, more money out of your pocket, and more noise for your system.

In any case, even if the temperature is a bit high. It's just 20$ worth of extra fans.

The G.Skills Ram company is one of the best, it'll serve you well.

Right now, it's having a 20$ sale, so i would just get that one. It's a very reliable one. I could've gotten you a Kingston one for only around $110, however i choose this one because it's 1866hm and it is better made

I don't agree on either PSU or the CPU upgrade bro.

The EVO 212 will perform almost as well as any closed loop water cooling, and those are over $100. It is really the best budget cooling system, you won't really need a super expensive custom loop water cooling unless you do some crazy OC.

Also, the PSU came down from a price of 94$. The price is not cheap because it's a bad PSU, but it's having a great sale atm. If i were you, i would take advantage of it.

While SLI have some issues, such as a few scaling issues. It has been worked on a lot by Nvadia and SLI is notably better than crossfire. I think a dual SLI will be fine, 3-way or 4 way is when you really start to see some problems as it's still new.

Due to the huge performance increase of the two 770, it's also 200$ cheaper than the 690, IMO it just doesn't make any sense to spend more for less at a slight inconvenience.

agreed, Ill go with it and shoulgd a game urn into an issue.. im pretty sure a single 770 could still power through it

Even if you encounter a little scaling issues, i think it'll only reduce the performance by a little, not completely kill the 2nd GPU's performance, so giving it still more performance than a 690.

Secondly, i think future games will be more optimized as SLI become more known and more widely used, so issues will become less and less for games.

And lastly, you're right, i'm running a single 770 and are able to max any game on my 1080p monitor. Maybe not get the 120 FPS+ i want, but it's still around the normal 60 FPS and smooth playing.

lol 60fps is still solid, and honestly the only reason im investing in a second GPU and more ram, etc. is the fact that i also do photoshop, premiere, lightroom, after effects, as well as run a single vm, code iphone and android apps. I do a lot of stuff simulteneously :)
