Building a gaming PC

I'm thinking of building a gaming PC next year. It'll be my first build, and I want to be able to play games such as COD AW, Skyrim and GTA V (modded) without lag.

1)Best cpu?
2)Best gpu?
3)Best motherboard?
4)Best psu?
5)Best ram?
6)Stock or aftermarket cooler?
7)Decent case?

Please can you make sure all parts are compatible, as its my first build. Max budget is £600-650

It's really going to depend on when next year you do the build. Deals change all the time, and availability will be different.

Oh no.. The "next year". If you are planning to build a PC in say January and February, you are probably only months short of a few massive releases. Specifically Pascal, Arctic Islands and Zen.

You would be best off asking a few days to a week before you are ready to build any thing we list now is likely to change in a few months.

you can look at Toms Q3 2015 (not sure when they'll do their Q4) build for a starting point. Prices fluctuate on most parts expect for the CPU and OS.
