So I have the Intel dual core E2160 which is an old CPU released back in the q3 2008, it's a budget CPU, silent and doesn't require much power, but my question is: can I get it to work with the GTX 750 or 660, or 590Ti, my motherboard is the Intel G41MT-S2PT which has a 16x slot and does run at 16x, got it for 85$ few months ago, RAM is 4gb ddr3 1333mhz, maybe overclocking the CPU to 2.4 and then I'll be able to run some new titles? whatcha think

Solution
Well, you can pick a 750, but there is no way to play smoothly new titles with that specs.

I would save some bucks, and build a entire system.

It will work fine with ALL of those cards you mentioned, but I recommend the 750 TI which is a newer card and consumes very little power. Your processor won't bottleckneck that card much as it is kinda a low end card like your processor is.. Overclocking the processor would be a decent idea as it would increase it's performance fairly well.
