No. That board only supports DDR4 RAM . https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-GAMING-PRO.html#support-mem shows compatible ram.

I built a computer using a board that supports DDR3 RAM with an EVGA 970FTW @ only $1062 including Taxes.

Also, you're trying to put a LGA 1150 chip in a LGA 1151 board.
