Hello guys,
I am currently in the market for a new PC. This would be my first dedicated PC, and I only have 1100 dollars. Of course I don't want to spend all that at once, since I need to buy the peripherals, too.
I was wondering if I could build a PC for 8 or 9 hundred dollars that will run games on high with 60+ fps.
I am new to this, but I was able to put this together.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tHKwkL I've been told it is a great rig, but I want to know if I can get a better deal, for same or similar performance. I've heard that AMD makes great, cheap processors, so I could go for one of those.
The total cost of the rig, including monitor and m/kb, should be around 900-950 (if 800 dollars are invested only on the rig), and that would be just awesome, since it would allow me to keep some money for the bus passes, hahaha.
