Building a high end computer is this good

if you're going to overclock, then that cooler will only be good for light, or medium overclocks at the most

i know you prefer intel, but for just gaming, intel does have the better performance overall, but Ryzen destroys them at the same price range or less when it comes to gaming, streaming & multi tasking
 
Ok. Makes sense. The link to pcpart picker suggests that is simply what you were looking at. Shame you already have the board. You can get a nice ryzen board for just over 100 if you looked at like the b350 tomahawk.

But the Intel will still do ok. Bad thing it's you'll likely need a new board if you upgrade CPUs again. That's one thing and is usually good about is platform compatibility.

But I digress:)
