building a low price mid spec pc... help

hey, im building a pc in the new year. i have a low budget to show my mates that great quality gaming can be achieved without the new consoles!.

so here goes:
mobo: asus m5a78l-m am3+ ....£49 ebuyer
cpu: amd fx 6300 3.5ghz.... £82 ebuyer
psu: ocz 500w sorexstream... £32
gpu: powercolor r9 270x 2gb Gddr5 ...£133
ram: crucial 8gb DDR3 1333mhz ballistix sport .... £57.03

i already have an atx case and a wifi card thats pci... dont need a disk drive...nor a monitor or other peripherals.

will this rig be good enough for general gaming. i seen some great reviews about the gpu as well as some good benchmarks.

will the psu be enough?
i did a test on some website that claims, using the components i have selected it will use around 430w and recommends a 480w .

any help would be appreciated. price is important to if theyres any alternatives please try to find a price that reflects the ones i have already found.

i live in the uk (middlesbrough),

and ive totaled the whole build at around 400 max

ovrerall, it should work. I'd recommend a 970 board rather than a 760 board -- the 760 board will work, but constrains the cpu in some ways because its basically a 2008 chipset.

cheers for your input bro, im relieved that i havnt got the whole thing wrong, the last time i was building a pc it had pc3200 ram init lmao

ill look into that motherboard and see what i can come up with
