Building a new computer

So my friends helped me looked up most of the parts already, all I need now its a good Motherboard, I wanna keep the price around 500 or so.

Please help me double check the build to see if I could upgrade for a better price and I will be needing a Motherboard.

As most people would recommend, the Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 will do you well, with overclocking and such. If you really want to stay closer $500 though, get the Extreme 3 or Pro 4, they aren't much worse.

That seems to be a great motherboard but it has a lot of extra slots that I probably won't be needing. So I might as well get a cheaper one.

Keep in mind, if you don't get a Z77 board, you won't be able to overclock.

I personally do not know much about overclocking tho, so i most likely won't be doing it.

Well if you won't be overclocking, get a Asrock H77 Pro4/MVP motherboard and a i5 3470 CPU. But I'd atl east try it. All you do is change a number in the BIOS and your set. Just have a decent cooler (Hyper 212 EVO)
