Hey,

I haven't built a computer in quite a few years, but I feel like its time I should get back to gaming like I'd like to ha. I was hoping to get some input on the build I'm thinking about. Any comments appreciated!

I think you may need a higher wattage PSU.

The GPU specs cite a "Recommended PSU" of 650 watts to begin with.

Do verify that I have the correct GPU.

No harm in tallying up all the component wattages, add 25% and establish that your listed PSU will meet system requirements.

Plan for growth.

What resolution/refresh rate are you gaming at?

i wouldn't trust the psu get something better i recommend EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3
the gpu Suggested PSU is 600 W - 650 W the gpus s TDP is 250 W lets say it peaks at 300W
the cpu i9 9900kf lets say it peaks at 200W that is about combined 600w just for the cpu and gpu at peak okay . so do yourself a favor and pick a 750w good quality unit like the evga supernova 750 g3 never skimp on psu it supplies electricity to your expensive components.

I really appreciate the input guys! I was afraid I'd get that response on the power supply but I was being hopeful that I could save a bit of money because I already have that power supply ha.

rather than teh 9900, I'd suggest a Ryzen 3700X. Its competitive in FPS with teh 9900 for a lot less money (enough to consider a GPU upgrade)

I went to 2 16 GB packs of 3733 memory - you could drop to just one pack of this, a less expensive, but still high quality SSD, a Mechanical keyboard (using Cherry MX Red knockoffs), a less expensive case and fans, and no aftermarket cpu heat sink (the one included is good enough for a light overclock)
