Hello everyone this is my first time build a gamming rig and here are the parts that I have chosen, I'm living in europe so it means, NO ACCESS TO EGG  But Well lets start

Case : Corsair Obsidian Series 650D (http://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/boitiers-pc-alimentations/corsair-obsidian-series-650d/f-107660719-cc650dw.html)

PSU : Seasonic 760w gold
(http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Composants/Alimentations/Alimentations-Gaming-de-650-a-800-Watts/SEASONIC/4841842-Alimentation-Full-modulaire-Seasonic-80-Gold-760W.htm)

Mobo : Asus Rampage III Gene
(http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Composants/Cartes-Meres/Socket-LGA-1366/ASUS/3022397-Carte-mere-ASUS-Rampage-III-GENE-Chipset-Intel-X58-Socket-LGA1366.htm)

CPU : Core i7 960 (http://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/processeurs/intel-core-i7-960-bloomfield-quad-core/f-1076402-bx80601960.html)

Ram : Corsair Dominator DDR3
(http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Composants/Barrettes-Memoires/Memoires-DDR3/CORSAIR/3017514-Memoire-Kit-de-3-Barrettes-Dominator-DDR3-PC3-12800-3-x-4-Go-12-Go-1600-MHz-CAS-9-XMP-Airflow-Fan.htm)

I havent choose a Graphic card, maybe the community can give some suggestions? >< Thanks in advance!! :hello:

I see Thanks pja61 unfortunatly that graphic card is out of stock in my area at the moment :na: . And uh sorry for not reading the rules Why_Me, guess I shall post it in the proper format, my bad :??: .

Approximate Purchase Date: This Week

Budget Range: 1200-1300 Euros

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Watching movies and stuffs.

Parts Not Required: Just the rig & components

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: CDiscount & Rue Du Commerce.

Country of Origin: France

Parts Preferences: by brand or type : I would prefer Intel for CPU and NVIDIA for graphic card.

Overclocking: Maybe, haven studied this much at the moment.

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Currently 1400 x 900 ( Samsung Sync Master 940 Bz ) Soon changing into a 24inch Samsung LED Screen.

Additional Comments: Hmmm, I'd like to have a clear window pannel Rig which is why I chose the Corsair 650D as I do not have enough budget for the 800D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are the parts I've chose, but I have not decided on a graphic card yet :na:

PC Case : Corsaire 650D

PSU : Seasonic 760w 80+ Gold ( Fully modular  )

Mobo : Asus Rampage III Gene

CPU : Core i7 960 Bloom field Quad Core

HDD : WD Blue 500Gb 16Mb 3.5" ( Interface Sata III 6Gb/s

Ram : Corsair Dominator DDR3 As for this component I am most unsure and worried that it might not be compatible with the mother board :(

I have also decided to get another CPU cooling fan rather than using the cooling fan which is supported that comes with the CPU such as a Cooler Masters CPU Fan cooler

Lastly I'll replace all the PC's case fan and replace with 120mm Blue LED Fans & 140mm Blue LED Fans

I was also thinking if I Should get a fan controler but do not know which will be best :??: .

Thats all at the moment, and Thanks again :)

^I agree as well and also agree with 8GB RAM its worth the little extra money since its so cheap nowadays (anyway compared to a few months ago - year ago). Also forgive me if I missed something like you're doing RAID or only need 500GB but I think the Western Digital Blue's are considerably slower than Blacks or Samsung's Spinpoints. Although I've never owned one myself, I have seen a lot of people recommend the Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F3's and claim it is the fastest drive and best bang for your buck.

Thanks for the reply kajabla & mgoon11 :D that's a great help, I didnt know what was sandy bridge but I guess its worth the shot, the budget is written though xD well, I would spend 100-250 Euros on a Graphic card :D Most preferably a NVIDIA one. Speaking of the ram, the mother board has 6 memory slots which support tripple channel so I thought it'd be best if I got one of those, not sure because this is my first case :( & Yes I think I should invest on an SSD too.
Here maybe I could replace the current HDD with this one Its an Samsung Spint point F4EG-3.

What I need to know is uhm, the ram's compability with the mobo and its good to go. Thanks again :D

P.S : I'm totally new to SSD's, are there any recommended brands? such as Corsair or OCZ would be better because the price difference between these two is very low.

EDIT :

Here are the SSD's I think I would take :

Corsair 60Gb SSD 2.5 ~113 Euroes.
OCZ 60Gb SSD 2,5 ~ 94 Euroes.

So which do you think its a better choice? Thanks in Advance!

Oh, there it is :p
That's a massive range, but a good card for around 200 pounds would be a 570.
You won't find yourself ever maxing 8gb, but if you're set on 12gb for some reason you still shouldn't get a kit as fancy as the one you've listed. A cooler is totally overkill; RAM never really gets hot.

Hmm ok, Thanks kajabla, I shall find the graphic card that my eyes are set on and then post it here again. What if I took 6Gb rams in tripple channel instead? would it be too slow compared to 8Gbs of ram? I have no idea on placing 2 sticks of ram on 6 slots :(

Alright, I think I went over the board with my budget calculations, I'll drop the grade of the Graphics card ><" I think I'll take this GainWard GTX 560, what do you guys think? And maybe I shall get a 3 x 2Gb Tripple Channel memory, will that do?

Is it any cheaper than a $50 8gb pack? Yes, it'll do.
560 Ti would be much better. If you're thinking about an SSD, you can afford it. A better GPU is usually more important than the drives.
Sniper memory is overpriced. Go Ripjaws.

Did the website turn buggy ? ><" It double posted and I cant edit it! Ok I see! Nice Sandy Processor! But theres a problem here, the Mobod doesnt support 1155 Chipsets? What to do! change mobo? or another core?

Check the links I posted. That's a 12+2 phase board that supports SLI, a factory o/c gtx 560ti, Samsung h/d , 8GB of G.Skill 1600hz RAM, modular 750w psu, 2500K, etc... that build allows you to add another one of those cards. You just need the case, optical drive, and heat sink.

Alright! I've just read everything and Time to recapitulate what I'm going to get, Thans to Why_me And kajabla!

So I decided to get this Asus Sabretooth P67 since kajabla said Z68 features wont be used, the reason I chose this was because of the cool looking as I want the Corsair 650D case which has a full window panel to give a nice clean and tidy looking plus it also supports i7 Cores. Now to the processors I am not sure between the difference but here is 2 CPU that I shall chose :

Intel Sandybridge Core i7 2600

&

Intel SandyBridge Core i7 2600K

So which one shall I take?

You should go with the 2500K over either of those. The K indicates that the processor can be manually overclocked, which is a must. The 2600K is marginally faster and has hyper-threading, which means it can run 8 processes at once, but once the two CPUs are overclocked there will be next to no difference in performance between them in gaming. Go with the 2500K and save $100.
