Hi all,
I initially intended to just buy a new GPU, but of course there was a domino effect and I have ended up wanting/needing to replace everything. I'm currently intending to keep my current SSD/HDD (which I know if very, very small) until I get paid then I'll look to get another, much larger SSD or something.
Now I'm by no means knowledgeable on this subject, but I'm trying my best to learn and hope you guys can just confirm whether what I have in mind is stupid or not... I already have the GPU & PSU.
Motherboard - MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 (w/ stock Wraith Stealth cooler)
RAM: Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 16GB (8x2) 3600Mhz
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon AMD RX 5700 XT
PSU Seasonic Focus GX 750W
Case: Fractal Design Define 7 with tempered glass side panel
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache HDD
Solid State: Samsung 120GB 850 EVO SSD
From my research this all seems fairly 'standard' and most parts have been reviewed to death. I just want to ensure that nothing I've selected would be incompatible and there is no obvious problems (apart from the lack of HDD/SSD space which will be addressed). I don't really understand what difference MHz and GHz make selecting different parts.
If anything I've selected is massively over-kill and can be downgraded to save me some money, that'd be great. I only really want to play games on ultra high graphics, like COD Warzone, and currently only have a single 1080p HD monitor.
Please help a noob out
