Building a new PC (gtx 980)

Hi I have recently sold my pc and looking to build a new one, I want it to have a GTX 980 and i7 4930k, but I am not sure about the other parts (not the case). Therefore I would like some help on choosing the right parts. I have a budget limit of 2500$.

Here's a preliminary build, room for SLI. It has room for peripheral budgeting if you need those. Have a preference between 144hz or 4K? Favorite type of keyboard switch/layout?

The entire LGA2011 platform, so yes. LGA1366 boards were triple channel 6ish years ago.
