Hello everyone, I'm trying to get the best pc for my dollar and $2300 is my absolute max. This is my second build, but I'm not in the loop with pc parts anymore, so I'm relying on the help of everyone onthese forums. This is my revised parts list from my post a few weeks back. I need to know if this looks like a good price per value. The psu in the parts list is from my last build and I'm trying to use it if I can get away with it. The amazon link is the PSU I've been recomended by a buddy. Any input is appreciated! Thanks in advance

It's about 7 years old but only had 3 years or so of use on it. Like I said, I'm out of my realm, what would you recommend?
That 850w psu would be the safe bet imo.

Personally I'd make these changes.

This board comes with a better audio codec which is nice if you play first person shooter games.

MSI MAG B660 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 $189.99

Save a few dollars on the cpu while obtaining similar performance.

Here's a case that doesn't require extra case fans worth having a look at.

Do you definitely intend to overclock?

Are you pretty much indifferent to case fan noise?

What's your best reason for wanting 32 GB of RAM?
I should have mentioned, keeping noise low is important to me. I live in a small apartment with my wife so I don't want to be bothering her. As for overclocking, it may be something i'll do in the future but not anytime soon. And for the 32g ram I was leaning towards 16 but I don't have the knowledge to make my own decision so I'm relying on advice of others. If i can get away with it I'm going to use the 750w I have for the time being and upgrade as soon as budget permits, unless it's going to be a big deal.

16 GB is plenty for most users. You may have purposes that would actually benefit from more, but we have no idea at all what your purposes are.

How much of your existing RAM do you typically have in use on your current PC?

Do you have a particular reason to think that your current RAM is holding you back in some way....as opposed to the CPU or hard drive performance?

The move from 16 to 32 might cost 60 dollars. Maybe that 60 dollars can be used on something else that would be obviously beneficial? A better monitor; a larger SSD; a second SSD; different case fans; a high quality cooler, backup hardware, whatever. That's for you to determine.

You can drop from the 12700K to the 12600K or 12600 and possibly never notice the difference as well.

Of course, all of this is irrelevant to the extent budget is of little or no importance.
