Building a new PC which CPU should i got with budget? 250-400.00$

I want to be able to play skyrim midded with allot of script base mods as well as mutitask at a fast rate I play games that are CPU heavy so which one should I get my video card is a 980 just case anyone is wondering should I get the i5 4690k or the i5 6600k or the i7 4790k or the i7 6700k?

if you can afford the i7 6600k buy it. its the best cpu in the market for gaming. great performance and also has a great overclocking headroom

Go for the I7 6700k if you have the budget, altough the Skyrim engine does not benefit from more than 4 threads (Skyrim engine is coded for 2 threads but it can use up to 4). If you want to save some money (without impacting performance very much) go for the i5 6600k which is the best i5 out there. If you want components suggestion in a particular budget, just ask...

So, If I were you I'd get the i7 6700k with a good motherboard so you can overclock (e.g. Asrock Z170 Extreme 6+ as it has most features for that price). There is no reason to go i5 4690k or i7 4790k.
