building a new pc with a good budget

I need to build a new pc with a limited budget and it's 2100$.


What are the best specs I can get?

Still leaves room if you want to add a second 980

forgot the air cooler, go with ether a noctura d15 or full custom water loop like a xspc raystorm

$2100 is a pretty neat budget, you will be able to build a nice gaming PC with it.

I assume you will be using it for gaming?

I would suggest:
CPU: Intel i5-4690k
Motherboard: z97 series, either Asus or MSI
PSU: between 650 to 800W from Seasonic or Corsair
1 Samsung EVO SSD which will be used to install windows (the C drive)
More SSDs of the same kind reserved for gaming
1 standard HDD for movies/music etc.
Graphics: Either a long 4gb card, or two identical 2gb cards (be aware that if you want to use two cards, your motherboard and PSU must be able to handle it)

Secondly, pick a case and a cooler. Either get a big case that can fit a tall air cooler, or get a smaller one with room for something like the Corsair h100 or Swiftech h220.
