I am planning on building a new PC, i have started off planing on the motherboard being an Asus Z87-C since i have been told by my mate that it is one of the best motherboards to get price and use wise; just wondering if anyone can help me or give me a website where i can see what parts work best with others. All up I'm hoping to spend between 2k -2.5 NZD.
Im trying to research the parts to get a better understanding of the whole building a pc (this is my first time by myself) so i am unsure what questions i have to ask or what i should be looking at.
Please help me

Gaming is what i would like to do, and my budget is $2,000 - $2500 New Zealand dollars (1000 - 1300 pounds roughly)

Fortunately, pcpartpicker.com has a NZ site.
