I am upgrading my pc to the following,

Kaby Lake 3.00 GHz - i5-7400 6M/LGA1151 $180.00 ask if fan included

8 gb $58.00 KVR21N15S8/8

MSI Z270 GAMING M5 (DDR4) USB 3.1 (LGA1151) Link $209.00

Cooler Master RS500-ACABB1 B500W Ver.2 500W PSU (85% efficiency) $46.00

what do you think guys? the below are already owned

nvidia 1060 3gb "Already owned"

Case Thermal take Wing RS "mid tower" would it fit the board? "Already owned"

SSD "Already owned"

edit : i think ill settle with

"Kaby Lake 3.40 GHz - i5-7500 6M/LGA1151 $203.00

1X Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133 (PC4-17000) KVR21N15S8 for $58.00

MSI Z270 GAMING M3 (DDR4) USB 3.1 (LGA1151) Link$159.00

Cooler Master RS700-ACABB1 B700W Ver.2 700W PSU (85% efficiency) Link $75.00"

I see this is the norm now. And it kinda makes sense. You spend the money on the Z270 now, and in the future if you want that unlocked processor, you can easily upgrade to it. But, if you don't have the funds, you don't need it.

[Place holders for already owned that we have too little info on, or can't find]
The i5-7400 does come with a cooler.

Overall, solid build, but... Get a better PSU. Unless you have RAM that exceeds DDR4-2400, and you don't, extra cash spent on MoBo that can be placed elsewhere.

My Revisions: You can stick with the i5-7400 if you wish, the i5-7500 is just an optional revision.

This assumes purchases on-line. I don't think it include "Amazon's Collect sales tax from all but 4 States." This assumes purchase in USD. You also get faster RAM for less.

you are right the 7500 is better but its more expensive ,t hats why i didnt go with it, and inregards to the psu , why do you recommend another? its a 520 watts psu , thought it would be enough, which psu would you recommend?

With a system that you probably will never overclock, the CM B500 v2 is an Okay unit. Its just a basic PSU. The Seasonic is heads above it in quality though, which is why I'd opt for it if I could afford it.

Ready to go with 16gb of memory, the PSU is better than what your looking at.
The 4 core 8 thread processor will help in some games now and more in the future. The 550 watt version of the PSU i listed would be a good buy for future upgrades 59 bucks.

well funny thing is , the place i was buying the PSU from called me and told me the psu was out of stop , so i substituted it with " Cooler Master RS700-ACABB1 B 700W"

but now they are telling me the m5 gaming board is out of stock and they are recommending the "MSI Z270 GAMING M7 (DDR4) USB 3.1 (LGA1151)" . question is should i go with the m7 or stick with the "MSI Z270 GAMING M3 (DDR4) USB 3.1 (LGA1151)"

this is the place i am buying my stuff from

Not familiar with them or any other vendor in the middle east. If the price of the M7 falls within your budget. It should be good to go with. It will just have a few more features.
