I've been playing BF3 on 360 for some time now(11th colonel), but I'm starting to feel the limitations of the platform. Long story short I want to build a new rig to play it on PC. I currently have a gaming rig, but it's a few years old now and showing it's age(4670 gpu, intel Q660, etc...)

I plan to keep what I can use for the new build and update from there. Here are the parts I have that I plan to use towards the new build:
-1 samsung 7200rpm 1tb hdd/another equal seagate hdd
-antec 900 case
-antec 850w modular psu
-samsung dvd drive

Aside from that I plan to gut the computer and replace everything.

Now, I know there are countless BF3 build threads, but I figured it was worth a new post for my own build since I am not starting from scratch or simply replacing a gpu.

Basically I would like to play the game on ultra, at or close to 60fps, at 1080p on a 40" TV, and spend as little as possible to get to that goal. I was thinking around $750 max and I would prefer to use an intel CPU. I have a basic idea of what to get, but I would like some input from people who already have the game on pc or have more pc gaming experience in general. Thanks.

+1 on Alvine's build. I would only recommend you spend a little more on a mobo like a gigabyte or ASUS that comes with an ez-button-overclocking utility (unless you're comfortable manually OCing). My ASUS mobo put me at 4.5 in just a few minutes with the push of a button.
