Hey, guys. I'm going to be building a PC here in a few months or so and I could use some advice. I've got some decent computer knowledge but I'm a tid bit rusty so I'm not 100% sure. I'm going to start ordering these parts in a month or 2 and start building my very first custom PC. So I need help with the following: Making sure all the parts are 100% compatible, if I'm forgetting something, if I'm going overboard, etc, etc.
Approximate Purchase Date: In about a month or 2.
Budget Range: Up to about $2,200. (I really don't want to have to spend this much but I want to get a really good PC for a really great price.)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Watching Movies, Surfing The Web.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: TigerDirect & Newegg
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: ASUS, Intel, MSI, WD
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: Yes, Maybe
Additional Comments: Something thats quiet but won't overheat.
Here is the build I've chosen atm. Feel free to comment on which one and suggest whatever. I need all the advice I can get.
1: Motherboard
2: PCU
3: RAM
4: GPU
5: Power Supply
6: Hard Drives x2
7: Case
8: Blu-Ray Player
9: DVD/CD Player
10: Multi-Media Memory Card Reader
Games:
GW2
DayZ
H1Z1
Minecraft
Unturned
and more.
Other Comments:
This is sort of a estimate of what I'm looking for in a PC.
I'll be using Windows 7.
Any suggestions for a keyboard and mouse? Wired Keyboard but Wireless mouse.
Any other suggestions?
How do I make this a discussion and not a question? I unchecked the (Request Answers) but it still says to answer the question.
