Building A PC (First Time)

Is it ok to build a PC on a steel table? Or will that be conductive or something? Thanks,

Fine. Be sure to ground yourself and check compatibility before buying.

Ideally, It would be non-metallic. If this is the only surface you have available, just make sure no sensitive components touch/scrape against it. Also, you cannot ground yourself on a metal table; you should use a bare metal part of your case while it's plugged in.
