So I was thinking of building my first ever pc for myself. I have some experience in both building and setting up PCs, but I have never built a pc for myself, always stuck with a laptop. I was thinking of including an RX 580 8gb, Ryzen 2600, and ASrock B450M (pro4?) in the build, but not sure about the other parts. I already have a case, PSU and a hard drive (Barracuda 1TB) but nothing else. I would prefer not to go over 700 since I am a college student and money is tough, I am currently unemployed. Please suggest builds/parts for my budget since I don't have too much experience with picking parts

I'm mostly gonna play games, but also code and edit a bit, and I live in Finland. I was thinking of ordering from Germany though since pc parts are cheaper there. I do not need an os, since I can get a windows license for free from my friend who owns a computer store. I will be buying the parts inside 2 months. I don't really need a monitor either. Will not OC probs, but in the future maybe. Pc will need to be kinda quiet. Upgrading because laptops dont generally like AAA games and I want to play a lot of games eg. borderlands 3 when it comes out.

Surprised resident builders haven't suggested builds yet. Usually a very popular subject.... As I mentioned previously I think what you have in mind is generally fine. Depending how serious you are on the content creation side of things I'd get as much RAM as possible. An SSD would be nice as well. Perhaps something like:

Hopefully someone can give better and alternative recommendations.

They need a graphics card. : P

You're probably better off sticking with 16GB of RAM (a 2 x 8GB kit) with that kind of budget, along with a less-expensive B450 chipset motherboard. At least as far as gaming and most desktop applications goes, 16 GB will likely be enough for some years to come. And if you do get an SSD to reduce load times and improve system responsiveness, a SATA model would likely offer good enough performance at a lower cost. Something more like this for example, though I don't know what the costs (or shipping from Germany) would be like where you are though...
