Building a pc for mother

Hey guys! My name is austin and i need some help. So for many years my moms been working 3 jobs to raise 5 of us by herself and is now a stay at home mom taking a well deserved break. Recently I've been able to save up money and have been fixing up her cars but im ready to give back bigger. my mom LOVES the sims series. i purchased sims 4 but instead of just putting it on my pc i decided im going to build her a pc. Im not going all out and over kill. im thinking something along the lines of an AMD A10 or A8 since its mainly just gonna be used for sims4 and web surfing, Any help is greatly appreciated! Why not just get a skylake nuc? The i3 version should be able to run sims at 1080p just fine, and total cost including memory and disk is <$550 (maybe $650 if you get a large SSD). The nice thing about that is that it's tiny and nearly impossible to knock over or spill something on (when mounted to a monitor)

agreed, the intel nuc are really quite neat and virtually invisible though i think it likely exceeds your budget.
