I have two options: "Cheap" ram (165 eur 3200hz 16cl kit) + Ryzen 5 2700x

or

Slightly "expensive" B-die ram (239 eur 3200hz 14cl kit) + Ryzen 5 1600x

both would go to the same price range. Just wondering what would get the "high ground" on high fps 1080p gaming + occasional streaming. Going to overclock the cpu to the max - I have somewhat bad experience with ram affecting the cpu overclock maximum.

Solution
It is certainly not worth the difference in money between the two RAM kits. Considering the motherboards for Ryzen 2 are a bit more expensive, it will be much better if you get the first combo for streaming. Do get a good cooler if you are gonna overclock.

if you overclock your cooler is more important, but if you're spending that kind of money, why not go all the way.

instead of cherry picking parts to save money, I usually would suggest buy used parts instead and go for the better spec
