Building A PC Question

My first time building a PC.

The motherboard I got is a Asis Z170-A. I'm going to be following a YouTube video in terms of plugging in all the necessary wires. Is there some sort of checklist avaliable or layout for the Asus z170-a that I can check to make sure I've plugged in everything?

Yea like I want to make sure all the hardware is connected, but I guess the book will tell me what everything is on the motherboard?

all you need to know is in the book to set it up Asus has a good manual on all the parts of the MB and the Bios settings.
Just take your time read it and if you need help on this just ask here on Toms hardware.

I just did my first build with ASUS z170 S... Like a jerk I went right to chapter 2, which is a very over-simplified how-to on attaching components on the mother board. Chapter 1 describes the very specific things that seem easy but are easy to mess up, like which slots to put your 2 ram sticks.

My advice from 20-20 hindsight, spend the night before your build reading the MB manual cover to cover. I wish I would have.
