Building a pc for the first time, I think I overlooked everything but you can't be sure.

Will this work?
-MSI GeForce GTX 970
-Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M2B3000C15R (2x8GB DDR4)
-MSI B150M BAZOOKA
-Intel Core i5-6500 Boxed
-Cooler Master GM G550M
-Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
-using an old case I had lying around, still going to check if the motherboard fits in.

Thanks in advance for awnsering!

I don't see any problems with that build, but if you put everything into pcpartpicker, it will list any incompatibilities. Have you considered the RX 480 or GTX 1070?

I have checked that site. It's indeed all competable. I have considered those two but decided to go with the 970 because of my budget and preferences.

That would work. I don't see a reason to use 3000mh ram.The "B" motherboard only supports speeds at 2133mhz.If you want to use faster ram get a "Z"motherboard.

That psu will work fine, even though there are better quality ones.Depends on what's available.

I took a look, and from what I've seen the ram at 2133MHz will only be like €3 cheaper, beraly makes a difference. And the Z motherboards are quite a bit more expensive. Are those the only one's that support 3000MHz?

You have any recommendations for better psu's around the same price? Or will they be more expensive?

Where are you from? Country i mean, Does the pcpartpicker apply? At the right hand top can you change the countries.

Yes only "Z" boards support higher than 2133mhz ram.

I am from the Netherlands, using tweakers.net to look around for products.
some alternative power supplies I've found around the same price range would be:
-Corsair CX550M
-Seasonic M12II EVO 520W
-NZXT Hale82 V2 550W
-EVGA 500W
-Antec VPF series 550W

I am considering choosing a better motherboard.
Options are:
-ASRock Z170A-x1
-MSI Z170A PRO
-MSI Z170A PC MATE
-Asus Z170-P
-Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P

For a psu as you described this one,
https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/360226/seasonic-m12ii-evo-520w.html
or
https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/302797/antec-hcg-520m.html

For the motherboard would i use this one,
https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/457397/gigabyte-ga-z170-hd3p.html
or a little more,
https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/457413/asrock-z170-pro4.html
maybe alot more,but looks nice,
https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/457419/asrock-fatal1ty-z170-gaming-k4.html
depends if the case used has a window. It has the best audiochip as well.Works well with that red ram too.Maybe with the Antec psu a red theme to the pc? Just a thought.:)

I like these MB's because the have the ALC1150 codec for upgraded sound:

http://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/asus-motherboard-h170progaming,gigabyte-motherboard-g1sniperb7rev10,gigabyte-motherboard-gah170d3hp/

I might spend a bit more on the PSU to get something tier 2 which is also Haswell (and Skylake) ready.
