Building a PC with concerns of Dx12

I was planing to build an Intel i5 4690k with gtx 970 when i came across what Dx12 can do to boost up the draw cells potentially better with amd cpu (fx 8230 or fx 9590) than intel cpu.

If so, what motherboard and power supply to over clock them to their maximum potential?

I have the 8320 and 280x while I'm very happy with it in all honesty the i5 will still perform better than the AMD. However the 990fx ud3 is a good overclocker for a good price or the Asus Formula board to maximize

What about direct x 12? Will i potentially benefit more if i pick FX 8350 rather than 4690k ???

No not likely but either chip is good for gaming Im happy with the 8320 just get a good 990fx motherboard an oc it
