Hey guys, i was wondering what the best set up would be with a budget of $750-$900. It would be for gaming, and nothing too intense. Just things like League of Legends, Minecraft, and L4D2. just need some input and ideas :) thank you

Solution
this is a $550 build and this one will play any game on a full hd monitor. medium settings. on crysis 3 and battlefield 4 those 2 are the most demanding game right now. maybe you can go to mid to high if you turn off anti aliasing. AA wont even affect the graphics. i always turn it off since i cant see the difference

Solution

thank you very much. this is extremely helpful :)

glad i can help. anyways i chose 8gb single stick because 8gb is more than enough for gaming and i went for the single stick so you can upgrade on the future and add another 8gb.

on the gpu dont forget since you have a nice budget you can make the gpu an r9 270 or 270x for more future proofing.

and the case you can change it according to the style you like.

Is withing his budget.
way better GPU + CPU.

I would go with this build if I were you :)

yeah that would be way better but like he said he isnt much of a gamer. and wouldnt mind a lower pc. your build is no doubt better but i think would be overkill for l4d2, LoL. but his choice, but for me if given that he isnt much of a gamer id rather save $300 and spend it on anything else

That is true, if he wont be gaming much.
2 sec might be doing a "inbetween our build".

yep for better future proofing plus he can always upgrade later.

Best inbetweener I could think of:
