I am currently building a PC which I will mainly use for gaming, but I want a PC that will last me couple of years and one that runs about anything smoothly. This the PC I'm building;
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-4790 (3.6GHz) 8MB
Graphics Card
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960 - 1 DVI, HDMI, 3 DP - 3D Vision Ready
Memory (RAM)
8GB KINGSTON DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB)
Motherboard
ASUS® Z97-P: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
1st Hard Disk
1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 450W VS SERIES™ VS-450 POWER SUPPLY
Processor Cooling
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO (120mm) Fan CPU Cooler
So is the i7 worth, I know that most games don't use HT, but current gen(PS4) are making use of it. The upgrade to i7 costs me £100; adding a 128 GB SSD will cost the same so should I stick with i5 and get an SSD? Also I can get an SSD later on in like 2 months so as on Amazon I can buy an SSD for around £50
