Hi,
I am going to build a PC this year. Here are the specs im hoping to get:
gpu: Gigabyte GTX 970 4GB
cpu: i5 4690
motherboard: ASRock H87M pro4
ram: G.skill ares 2x 4GB
HDD: seagate barracuda 1tb
psu: thermatake Berlin

this comes out at around £672 which is just inside my budget. I am here to ask whether the components are compatible and there are no limiting parts. Is this a good PC to run most games at 60fps on high/max settings on a 1080p monitor?

Yes, all the parts are compatible. You should be able to average 60 fps on high-max at 1080p.

The only reservation I have is the PSU. I've never heard of that line from thermaltake, and it could be one of their lower-quality lines. My suggestion is to take a look at this list: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Find a tier 1 or 2 PSU on that list that fits within your budget and go with that one instead.
