Hi all,

I am looking to build my own PC which I will use mainly for gaming, however I don't really know what route to choose... Whether I go AMD or Intel and also whether Id be better off going for new components or looking round on the used market.

I have a budget of around £500, and I already have the case, power supply (Corsair VS650) and a 500gb hard drive.

If anyone could advise me on what to look for or even part out a build for me that would be much appreciated!

Thanks all,

Skip the SSD altogether in this price range.
The RX 580 is sold out nearly everywhere btw.

If going new, I would look at something like this:

If used, it would be nice to find a local seller where you can test the equipment or see it in action before you buy.
