Solution
Thanks for that so is something like this what you were getting at?

Yep, but the card you picked seems to have some negative comments about the fans and temps. The case is also a bit iffy, and you picked a pretty nice looking motherboard so you may want to look at something with a window and make it look nice to actually see. https://www.amazon.com/Fractal-Desi...r-Gunmetal/dp/B074PTN1KR?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

I like Phanteks a lot, last 3 systems I built used their cases...
Hi, I’m looking at building a PC and would appreciate any feedback on how to improve it whilst not increasing the price too much. The specs are :

Thanks
The gpu is pretty bad man.
The rest of the build is nice, but i gotta tell ya 2gb of Vram isnt going to hold well in new games.
I suppose you are on a budget,so i recommend getting RX570 or RX 580,both being 8gb versions.
I would put a 240gb ssd in there for windows and maybe some games, trust me you will see a big difference.

I would absolutely budget in even a cheap SSD. Running OS off a HDD is going to cripple perceived performance.
Going single channel on your RAM is going to hurt a lot.

9600K has an iGPU. Without knowing financials, I would nix the current GPU, double the memory, decent M.2, and pick up a better, perhaps used GPU next pay period?

Is this for games at all? If it is, you are putting money to the wrong thing. Get a Ryzen 5 2600, 50 cheaper than your i5, drop the aftermarket cooler which is another 24, get a simpler motherboard that will save you about 30 more, use the extra money for a 1650 Super or RX 580 video card and 2x8 gb higher speed RAM, maybe get a nicer monitor. Those video cards will be just fine for 1080 gaming at 60-75 hz, or save a bit and get a better video card for another 50 like a 1660 super. The option to just get the i5 and skip the video card and buy it when you can get a nicer one is also valid, a 1030 is really the very cheap gaming PC setup option or something to upgrade a business tower with, and with the CPU you want your system is certainly not going for that low of a price.
