Wanna go about USD100 lower? That is an easy answer, do not take FE version of the GTX1080...plus...wait another 1-2 months, if you still can not find any GTX1080 beside the FE version...

No you don't. Fractal design R5 is big enough and has good enough air-flow to handle non-FE-edition-like fan.
FE-edition fan is only needed if you have a small case with relative bad air-flow.
non-FE-edition-like fans perform better.
