Hey,
I have about $1000 to spend on building a computer specifically for architecture rendering programs (Vray, Grasshopper, Rhino, Adobe series, etc)
And also found out I could get cheap used Xeon cpus from ebay.

This is what my build looks like:
CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon X5675 ($110 total) [used]
RAM: 8 x 8GB Hynix PC3-12800R ECC ($200 total) [used]
Motherboard: SuperMicro X8DT3-LN4F ($90) [used]
GPU: MSI GTX 980 4GB OC ($254) [new]
PSU: EVGA 750W GQ 80+ Gold ($80) [new]
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 500gb ($165) [new]

Total: $900

Still looking for cases and cooling system.
How does my system look? Would you think this can run regular windows?

Thank you,

Its not really a big deal but you could get a used nvidia Quadro or a amd FirePro witch are made for those programs. Its your preference, go with the gtx 980 if you do any gaming. Other then that your system looks great!
