OK so Ive not built a pc for 15yrs but if anything it looks easier now. So I want one to move from console to PC ,I only use PS5 for sim racing and PC will be the same thing.
Problem I have right now is I seen pre built in Costco for a tickle over 2k and I cant match the price to parts when I go to partpicker, I dont know if I can share links to either so I wont but if you guys had a 2k budget what would your PC look like. no monitors or peripherals just the PC. My only starting point is a 5080 and 9800x3d after that I'm lost.

Yes, you can post links.

Start here, answer all the questions. People will be along to suggest a parts list:

$2k will not get you a 5080 and a 9800x3d. Those 2 parts combined are over $1800.
I would look to a 9800x3d and a 9070xt. The 5070ti is faster, but not $100 more faster. (4-7% on average depending on resolution)

I should have said I'm UK so a 5080 is 1k and a 9800x3d is £410

If you really want a 9800x3d, you can drop down to a single 2tb drive. I just prefer to have one drive for OS, and another for games.
