Hi, I'm sure people post stuff like this all the time, and I apologize if this isn't the correct place, but I was wondering if I could get some assistance building a system for a friend of mine. I know all the parts needed to build a system, but not much regarding matching things up right, like processors and motherboards, or if video cards require certain processors.

Anyway, he's using a 10+ year old computer for his everyday gaming and other computer uses, And I have heard awesome things from friends about building a system regarding price to performance. So tonight I shot him the idea of building one, utilizing Newegg's preferred account financing (since he's working a stable job, just doesn't have a ton saved up for a decent system), and he wants to look at spending around 750-900 for a solid system that will let him play current games with mid-high settings.

Would anyone be willing to help me get started on the main parts of the build?

Whoa 10 years old :O and ok one sec
