Ok I think thats all the important stuff. Runs around 3k. What do you guys think? Been out of the computer loop for about 1.5years and this is what I put together in 6hours. So any modifications or suggestions would be great.

Moniter is my biggest problem. I want somthing fast, but the way most people rate their LCD is really far off. I heard alot good things about VX922. But im open for suggestions.

hmm... shadowmast is right in a way.... a 30' monitor will hold value longer than 2 8800gtx's.

mind to tell us what you would be doing with your computer and what type of games you will be playing?

Your moniter and your cpu cooler could be alot better. Get a 30" apple cinema monitor and a noctua u12f cpu cooler, or a thermalright ultra 120 with a noctua 120mm fan. It will be silent and outperform that rosewell crap by a long shot.

If you're sticking with that monitor drop a gtx and stick with one. Get quad core over the dual as you'll get more longevity out of your system that way. If you cant afford a 30" apple cinema, get a 24" monitor at lease. You can get a Samsung 245BW 24in for about 550.00usd.

Get a pioneer 212d over the asus dvd burner. Ditch the sound card, xfi doesnt work in games under vista (trust me i have one and it doenst work).

-Get at least 24" monitor, recommend Samsung 245BW 24in
-Ditch the Xfi
-Get the Pioneer 212D over the asus burner
-Only keep the sli IF you get the 24" monitor
-Get either noctua u12f cpu cooler or Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme
-Ditch the Raid 0 config for WD new 750GB performer, or Hitachi 1 TB
-Get q6600 instead of e6850

I like your pick on PSU, I have the same one and it is excellent. You may want to go for Patriot Ram instead of the OCZ if it saves you a few bucks. 2gb Modules tend to be 5-5-5-15 anyway, so you shouldnt bother with more expensive brands/modules.

Indeed, ditch the X-Fi sound card cause I heard there is a lot of problems when used on with Vista. 1 8800GTX at 12x10 res will probably be bottlenecked by the cpu already, and going sli is super overkill. cpu cooler is okay but I would recommend Zalman coolers.

OK here are the things ive changed so far.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115017

Processor Cooling: Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16835109140

I dropped the X-fi.

I'm still looking at monitors. They are hard to shop for without seeing them in person. That Samsung Eric 54 suggested seems nice tho.

As far as what this computer is will be used for. I'm looking for highend gaming. Crysis, Bioshock, Hellgate London. As well as playing older things like WoW (I know this is over kill for that) Oblivion Ect.

I switched to the quad core cuase not only is it 10$ cheaper, I hear they overclock to 3ghz pretty easy.

So keep the suggestions coming. And thanks a ton guys. :)
