My 13 year old son wants to build a gaming computer that he will also use for VR with VIVE.

I would like to round up the hardware for Christmas/birthday presents. His favorite colors are black and orange so I thought it would be fun to make this an orange and black build.

I would love some feed back on my parts list. I have done some research but and new to this.

When I bought the VIVE it came with Nvidia GTX 1070 Founders Addition

I would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Solution
Assume you don't have that Z270 MB already. 8th gen coffee lake I7 is out, don't buy 7th gen :) HDD is no good. cooler is a little bit overkill. ram can be cheaper. psu is too old model. My edits:
