Hi there,
This is my second post, previously I asked my fellow members and moderators about cpu mobo combo.
But I came to know that that would be far moreboverkill for <1080p <60FPS both.

My first prerequisite is I need some strong valueable suggestions for all respected members regarding an IDEAL COFFEE LAKE BUILD which will be only used for GAMING @ 1080p restricted @ 60FPS “ULTRA Settings”.

I have the following few components from my old rig, which I’ll be carrying forward.

  • CORSAIR RM750 (not i)
    CORSAIR H80i (not v2)
WD Blue 2TB (a few months old)
Now I want to know which of the following components should be taken under consideration for my rig.

    Coffee Lake Processor
    Z370 Mobo (Asus or Gigabyte)
    RAM
    SSD
    GRAPHICS CARD

I’ll have NZXT S360 Elite Red-Black for my case.

Now my other question is Should I upgrade my WB Blue to WD Black?

AWAITING eagerly for your answers.
Thanks.

i5 8400 would more then be enough for 60hz 1080p gaming unless you plan on overclocking then get the 8600k.

Mobo is up to you based on what features you want

RAM 8GB is fine but try to get 16. And 3000mhz is the best speed but even slower stuff is only going to drop you a few fps at most

Samsung 850 but any SSD from a reputable brand is good.

A 1070 or 1070ti would probably ensure the best frame rates.

Thanks both of you for your valuavle suggestions. I saw GTX 1070 is available over GTX 1080. So my primary weapon will be GTX 1070. I see no impact of GTX1080 Ti on 1080p 60Hz gaming. That will surely save some cash.

I would use the i5 8600K for the ability to overclock in the future this can help make your PC last longer before you need to upgrade the processor. When you no longer keep up with the demands of future games you just overclock the performance right back up.
I would also check on the GTX 1070ti again a bit more performance over the GTX 1070 about 15% more for a small increase in price usually less than 10% price increase.
