Hi guys,

Basically i built a small business about 5 identical PC's about 2 weeks ago and apparently my name was thrown about, so now i have another client who wants me to build a pc for them.

The PC i'm building is for a stock broker/trader and he was very specific about what he wanted. The exact same PC that he was going to buy from a store was gonna cost him about $2000, i built the same one and a bit better for about $1200

Before i list the parts, let me list a few of the criteria he wanted:

1. 4-way monitor support: Apparently he is gonna have multiple spreadsheet, stock prices, etc open at a time

2. Two hard drives: One 320GB and One 1TB data hard drive

3. An i5 processor (or better) with 3.3GHz (or better)

4. Windows 7 Home Premium x64

My objective is to keep it below $2000 so i can be competitive, but the cheaper the better.

PARTS

CPU: Intel i5 3.3GHz - $219.99

MoBo: ASRock P67 EXTREM4 - $154.99

RAM: Corsair 8GB (4x2GB) - $74.99

GPU: GeForce 550 1GB - $129.99 (Buying 2 of these so, $259.98)

PSU: SeaSonic X 650W - $109.99

HDD1: Western Digital 320GB - $39.99

HDD2: Western Digital 1TB - $79.99

CD/DVD: ASUS CD/DVD burner - $18.99

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER - $54.99

OS: Windows 7 Premium x64 - $189.99

SUBTOTAL: $1,203.89
TOTAL (tax/shipping): $1,324.90

What i'm struggling for the most is the Graphics cards, i feel like the ones i've picked are kind of overkill, but i'm not too sure if 2 low profile cards will have the strength to run 4 monitors. Any suggestions?

How do these parts look? Compatible? Am i overpaying for some stuff?

Thanks guys

Oh and 1 more quick question, must the motherboard be SLI ready in order to use 2 video cards?

I dont want to SLI them, i just need 2 cards because i have to hook up 4 monitors

Like for example can i buy a MoBo, with only 16x and 4x PCIe Slots and no SLI support?
