I ordered a RX 580 GPU to compliment a shitty FX-4350 quad core and an AMD 970 motherboard I have laying around. I figure there will be bottlenecking issues, so I'm looking for ideas on how to move forward with the build... I'm Frankensteining this computer for the sole purpose of playing Division 2 so please keep that in mind upon responding. Any and all input is appreciated.

That all depends on your budget and/or how much you're willing to spend. Lower budget would call for a Ryzen 3 1200 or 2200G or even i3-8100. Mid-budget Ryzen 5 2600 or i5-8400. Higher budget has even more options. Either way, you will need a new CPU, RAM, and motherboard.

On the other hand, I see people playing The Division 2 with an FX-8350 + RX 580 and it does okay. (40-60fps @1080p)

I'm thinking Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, and Team Elite Plus 16GB for ram, but for the motherboard I'm unsure. I think I might just use the AMD 970... Thoughts?
