Building//buying Pre-Built; Which one?

I'm a student looking to purchase his first gaming rig due to graduating from College. If anyone at THW could suggest a build, that would be fantastic <3.
Here are the specs I'd prefer for my build.


Core i7
GTX 660
8GB RAM


If you can find a full build for under $1000 that includes the above, I'd be delighted. On the other hand, I've been quoted by a few vendors for similar specs (or better) and was going to go with the cheapest option.

If it's just for gaming, then go for i5-3570K instead. But if u have special needs like video editing, graphic design or programming, stick w/ i7-3770K. However, it'll be difficult to include an OS under $1000.

P.S: GTX 760 > HD 7950 > HD 7870 Ghz > GTX 660 in gaming.

you wont need anything more than 550w for a single GPU rig nor will you need a i7 unless you are doing a fair amount of video work to make up for the difference
