This is a great build, since you gave very vague information, I'm guessing this is primarily a gaming PC. I chose parts that will be great for what you intend to use it for. I also gave it a white and black color scheme to match. The 750W PSU is not necessary but for future upgrades if you plan to do so, its great.

Also the SSD is for your OS and APPS. Its much faster than a standard HDD and you will never want to return to a normal 7200 for windows again.

Why windows 10? I would rather not have an SSD. Heres an updated build, say what you think about it: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TCVXwP

Well, Windows 10 is personal preference but at some time they will no longer offer support for Win 7. Also windows 10 has many features that will enhance the PC gaming experience and I for one think it works better and is more smooth that windows 10, but you don't have to get it. I cant see why you wouldn't want an SSD and want your PC to be faster and more smooth but its your choice. Also you said your going to do light editing so I don't really see the need for the i7 either.

Lemme correct myself, medium to high editing I suppose, semi-often editing. Is there anything else I can tweak, or is this build pretty decent? BTW you've been a lot of help thank you :)

Then I can agree with the i7, looks like you know what you want, and your welcome. Enjoy your new build!
