Building first gaming pc and need feedback on build

Im buying my first pc build for a gaming pc and im a bit out of my league here. Im not sure if all the parts are good enough or even compatible with each other (excuse my newbness). Anyone have any suggestions for better parts? Im lookin to spend 1000-1200 on it all. Thanks in advance.

Are you planning to overclock, cause if you are you need the 4670K, if you are not planning to overclock, may drop to a H87 motherboard to save some money

To be honest im not even sure if im gonna even need to overclock. the computer i got right now is 11 years old so i cant do much of anything on it. All i would be doing with my new pc is downloading stuff and gaming so would overclocking really be needed with a build like that? I guess that would be my question actually because I dont really wanna skimp on the storage or video card in the interest of saving money. And besides overclocking, does my motherboard seem over the top? I see similar builds with 100$ mobos. I just picked that because I do plan on upgrading my parts eventually but honestly I have no idea as far as motherboards go.

Also if i were to go with overclocking and buy a cpu cooler on as well could i fit it all in my mid tower? Im not sure if anyone would know for sure but i heard of people buying a build and not being able to fit it all in the case

Actually i already know the case will be too small it says right on the site. so if i were to overclock id need a tower with more room but im not sure if its going to be necessary.
