A few changes are needed to get it below $1,300 / nearer $1,250 including the OS.

i thought about the 1070 but it's kind of wasted at 1080p 60Hz especially at the games mentioned and the A series motherboards don't allow overclocking , do they ? thinking about it now i could probably remove the ssd i chose and add the 1070 which would go nice @ 1080p 144hz ! ( sorry thinking aloud there :p haha)

Yeah, I realized I'd selected the wrong monitor - I was looking at two different PCPP and they messed each other up.

I've made a couple of changes now - including the monitor.

Good catch on the A board.... wrong Gaming Pro. Updated again now.

is the ram you chose a specific colour for the build ? i haven't looked , just thinking that the 3200mhz is a few cents cheaper ! but it's actually a very good all round build , especially if the OP decides to play more AAA games .

appears the OP has already decided though so it maybe a moot point about the ram .
