Greetings,
I'm building my first gaming/stream PC. I want to know your opinion about my list. I have no skill with PC overclocking so components are chosen according to this.
Components:
MB - ASUS H97-PLUS - Intel H97
CPU - Intel Xeon E3-1231v3
GC - MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G
RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury Black 2x4GB DDR3 1866
PU - Seasonic S12II-520 520W
HDD - Seagate SV35.5 - 1TB
SSD - Crucial M550 - 128GB
FAN - SilentiumPC Fera 2 HE1224
CASE - Fractal DEFINE R4 Titanium Grey
I know that some components (for example CPU) are more likely used in servers stations but some other guys told me, that Xeon processors are very similar to Intel i7 but without integrated graphic.
My budget is about approximate 1100€ (1400$), but its not too accurate, because I'm from middle Europe and price can be different (also because of changes in exchange rate)
Do you think that will be possible to play games with max details (or nearly) in next 4 or 5 years with these components. Or is it better to learn overclocking and buy for example cheaper Intel i5-4670k with MB supported overclocking and after few years overclock it when it will be necessary. And is it suitable for streaming games (Twitch.tv)?
Thank you very much for your advices.
Have a nice day.
