Curious if anyone has suggestions or think this will be a decent build as a dedicated stream PC, currently I stream from my gaming rig to a MSI Gaming laptop which has the following specs: MSI GL62M 7REX Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4G Graphics,
16GB DRAM,
128GB SSD + 1TB Hard Drive.

This is the link of what i may build (TRYING TO BE COST EFFICIENT AND UPGRADE LATER) my stream runs great now just want to mimic the performance of how it runs now. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4YZ4BZ

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

DDR4-3200MHz dual channel ram kit.

An NZXT 240mm AIO to tie the build together, the Hyper in this day and age isn't that good. You could look at Cryorig's H7 line.

You will also need a 550W PSU at the very least. If you do pick that PSU, you're also going to have to disable C6/Deep Sleep state in BIOS.

I'll see if the build can be refined a little more. What is your absolute budget? You could have the PC perform your gaming duties while the laptop could be used for handling streaming.

Thank you so much, yeah it is little things like that I had no clue about so I appreciate it. Also in reference to what you said earlier about the laptop being the stream PC, that is what I am currently doing. I have a pretty heavy pre built gaming rig that I game on and stream directly to the laptop using an external capture card.

That being said I can't really upgrade the laptop. It is very difficult to use the laptop as an actual laptop or during travel as its closed under with a dock and lots of wires everywhere hah. So the goal is A. to build a PC because its always been a project i've wanted to do B. Build one that can mimic the performance I get now (so it remains in that 600-700 budget range).

This way in the future I can easily upgrade both my gaming and streaming rig and it will make my entire setup a lot cleaner.

Thanks so much again for your help!

Also, it is saying that adding a CPU Cooler may cause compatibility issues with the MicroATX case? Not sure what that means lol. Any coolers you recommend?
