TLDR I'm surprising my dad who never treats himself by shipping him the parts for a new gaming pc but would love input (Especially on gpu).
1080p 60hz
Needs to last
Want him to experience max settings
My dad is the reason I was able to get into gaming and bought me my first gaming rig 10 years ago, as well as a decent one for himself. Because of taking care of our small family, he has never been able to upgrade and still plays on his fossil. Lately I've been able to save some money so I'm going to surprise him by shipping all the componants he needs to build a comp over the course of the next couple weeks. He plays 1080p 60hz, and likely wont upgrade, so I initially decided on a gtx1060, however, this system will need to last him as obviously he wont be able to put much money into it later, so I'm now torn about putting up the extra cash for a 1070 or 2060 for some longevity. He mostly plays WoW there days but also because his comp limits him. Would love to see his face if he loaded up kingdom come:deliverance for example.
This is what I've picked so far, would love input, hope I post this link correctly.
